In the spirit of the holidays, Benito Juarez Elementary hosted its annual food drive where they raised a total of 1,100 pounds of food for the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano Counties. Over the course of a couple of weeks, students from each class brought in canned and packaged goods to donate that resulted in 916 meals.
