AMPS CEO receives city council honors on Cesar Chavez Day

On March 31th, Noel Gallo and Abel Guillen of the Oakland City Council adopted a resolution, in commemoration of Cesar Chavez Day, to honor Oakland Latinos and Latinas who through their leadership and community service have continued the legacy of Cesar Chavez. Cesar Chavez was an American farm worker, labor leader and civil rights activist, who, with Dolores Huerta, co-founded the National Farm Workers Association.
